Sending a copyright takedown notice

If you believe that a link to one of your copyrighted works has been published on Cinetimes without your authorization, you may send a copyright infringement notice. Before doing so, make sure the case does not fall under an exception to copyright protection, such as authorized use under the law, fair use, or another applicable exception. Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent may submit such a notice.

Please note that Cinetimes does not host the videos displayed on the site, but links to content hosted by the platforms listed above. Cinetimes contains direct links or embed codes to those sites and is not responsible for their content. In the event of a legal issue, please contact the media owners or the hosting platforms directly.

To submit an infringement notice, your request must include:

  1. Your contact details
You must provide information that allows the user who uploaded the video to be removed, and Cinetimes, to contact you regarding your claim (email address, postal address, or phone number).
  2. A description of the work you believe has been infringed
In your claim, make sure to fully and accurately describe the content you want to protect.
  3. The URL of each video concerned
If your claim does not include the location of the allegedly infringing video, we will not be able to remove it. Please use the following format: cinetimes.org/xxxxxxxxxxx
  4. The following statement, duly accepted
"I have good faith reason to believe that the use of the content that is the subject of my claim is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. The following statement:
"The information in this notice is accurate, and I declare under penalty of perjury that I am the owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that I believe has been infringed."
  6. Your signature
A valid claim must bear the physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a representative authorized to act on their behalf. To sign, you may type your full legal name (first and last name, not a company name) at the bottom of your claim.

We encourage you to contact us directly with any questions or requests to remove content that violates your copyright.
