Candles in the Dark
Synopsis
When a privileged young American woman visits her father's homeland in Soviet-occupied Estonia, she discovers he's part of the underground resistance fighting for religious freedom and human rights. As she witnesses the brutal suppression of Christmas celebrations and the closure of churches, her initial culture shock transforms into fierce determination to join the dangerous struggle, even as the relentless KGB closes in on their clandestine network.
