Synopsis

In the brutal 1931 Canadian Yukon, solitary trapper Albert Johnson rescues a beaten dog from a vicious owner, setting off a deadly chain of events that transforms him from good Samaritan to most wanted fugitive. When the dog's vengeful owner falsely accuses Johnson of murder, veteran Mountie Sergeant Edgar Millen must reluctantly lead a massive manhunt through the frozen wilderness. As the chase escalates into an epic survival battle across treacherous mountain terrain, both hunter and hunted discover that in the unforgiving Canadian frontier, honor and duty can become a matter of life and death.
