Synopsis
When a sea captain's $40,000 silk payment is stolen moments after he receives it, a quick-thinking newspaper reporter witnesses the heist and steals the cash from the crooks—setting off a wild chase through 1930s Los Angeles involving fistfights, hidden sausages, and plenty of double-crosses.
