The River of Romance
Synopsis
A young Southern gentleman raised by peaceful Quakers returns to 1830s Mississippi only to be branded a coward when he refuses to duel, forcing him to flee and reinvent himself as a notorious riverboat gambler before returning seven years later to reclaim his honor and the woman he loves.
