Synopsis
After their World War I army buddy Eddie Smith is killed in battle, bumbling veterans Stan and Ollie return home determined to reunite his orphaned daughter with her grandfather, embarking on a series of hilarious misadventures as they search through countless people named Smith in New York City while dodging welfare officials and accidentally disrupting weddings in their heartfelt quest to honor their fallen friend's memory.
