Synopsis
Dr. Paul Christian fights to improve the dire living conditions in his town's impoverished "Squatter's Town," where poor sanitation breeds disease and despair. When wealthy elites pressure him to abandon the downtrodden, the compassionate doctor refuses to turn his back on those who need him most. But when a deadly epidemic threatens to spread from the slums to the entire community, Dr. Christian must unite rich and poor in a battle for survival and social justice.
