Synopsis
When Judy Peabody, a spirited hat-check girl at New York's prestigious Stork Club, rescues an elderly man from drowning, she has no idea he's actually a millionaire in disguise. As a token of gratitude, he anonymously lavishes her with luxury gifts and an unlimited bank account. But when Judy's soldier boyfriend returns home and discovers her newfound wealth, he suspects the worst, forcing Judy to navigate a comedy of errors while trying to prove her innocence and follow her dreams of becoming a singer.
