The Young Land
Synopsis
In 1848 California, after the Mexican-American War ends, a young sheriff without a gun or badge faces his greatest challenge when he arrests an American gunslinger for murdering a Mexican man. As tensions mount between communities and a federal judge arrives to conduct the trial, the entire territory waits to see if American justice will truly be blind to race and prejudice in this explosive test of law and order on the frontier.
