Fantastic movie
They will never make fantastic movies like they did back in the day the movie stars today sit on their brains if it wasn't for vulgarity and nudity and violence they'd probably be working at a fast food restaurant cleaning out the toilets and flipping burgers. God bless the movie stars of yesteryear those days are gone forever. ?

rigolo et constructif
J'ai découvert cette série un peu par hasard sur ce site et j'ai vraiment accroché! C'est frais, c'est drôle, c'est différent. Le principe d'une famille de pirates est original et amène des situations toujours amusantes et décalées. J'adore les chamailleries entre les personnages, surtout avec mamie la poudre! En plus les dessins sont sympas et les dialogues bien trouvés. Parfait pour se détendre devant la télé!

impresionante animación
Un día estaba en Cinetimes tratando de encontrar estos viejos cortos de Superman que marcaron mi infancia (los solíamos alquilar de la biblioteca y ver en VCR). Resultaron ser tan fascinantes que me vi la serie completa de Cinetimes de un tirón. Aquí van mis impresiones:
**Puntos Altos:**
La animación es impresionante. Supongo que en los años 40 el presupuesto era mayor, porque realmente se nota el esfuerzo puesto en cada escena. Si lo comparas con cosas como el Spiderman de los 60 o algunos de los programas infantiles actuales, la diferencia es abismal. Las historias son emocionantes y fáciles de seguir. Lois es un personaje audaz y realmente es la Lois que conocemos y queremos hoy. Superman es igual al de ahora, excepto que no tiene visión calorífica. Los cortos mantienen la emoción de principio a fin.
**Puntos Bajos:**
Contiene propaganda contra los japoneses, ¡pero estamos hablando de 1941! ¿Qué se podía esperar?
**Veredicto:**
Una de las mejores series animadas que se han creado. Hazte un favor y véelas ya.

Frank Capra's hilarous Screwball comedy.
Mortimer Brewster, a writer and drama critic, secretly marries Elaine Harper on Halloween day. They plan to travel to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon, but first, Mortimer visits his adorable elderly aunts, Abby and Martha Brewster, who are known for their charitable deeds in the neighborhood. He also meets his insane brother Teddy, who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt and is digging locks for the Panama Canal in the basement.
Upon discovering a dead body hidden in the window seat, Mortimer learns that his aunts have been murdering poor men out of charity, serving them poisoned wine. Teddy then buries the corpses in the locks, believing they had yellow fever. As Mortimer plans to send Teddy to the Happy Dale Sanatorium, his other insane and cruel brother, Jonathan Brewster, unexpectedly arrives with his alcoholic partner, Dr. Einstein, looking for a place to dispose of his own victim's corpse.
Based on a stage play, "Arsenic and Old Lace" is a side-splitting comedy that showcases Capra's talent for blending dark humor with endearing characters. Josephine Hull and Jean Adair deliver outstanding performances as the well-meaning but lethal aunts, while Cary Grant's exaggerated reactions to the unfolding chaos contribute to the film's hilarity.
