Submitting a Removal Notification for Copyright Infringement

If you believe that a link to one of your copyrighted works has been published on Cinetimes without your authorization, you have the right to send a notification of copyright infringement. Before proceeding, please ensure that the case does not fall under a copyright protection exception, such as lawful use, fair use, or other. Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent can undertake this process.

Note that Cinetimes does not host the videos presented on the site but provides links to content hosted by the aforementioned platforms. Cinetimes contains direct links or embedding codes to these sites and is not responsible for their content. In case of legal issues, please contact the owners of the multimedia files or the hosting platforms directly.

To submit an infringement notice, your request must include:

  1. Your contact details
You must provide information that allows the person who uploaded the video to be removed and Cinetimes to contact you regarding your claim (email address, postal address, or phone number).
  2. The description of the work that you believe has been infringed
In your claim, ensure to fully and accurately describe the content you wish to protect.
  3. The URL of each of the videos in question
If your claim does not contain the location of the alleged infringing video, we will not be able to remove it. Please follow the format:
  4. The following statement duly accepted
"I have good reason to believe that the use of the content that is the subject of my claim is prohibited by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law."
  5. The following statement:
"The information contained in this notification is accurate, and I swear that I am the owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that I believe has been infringed."
  6. Your signature
A properly formed claim must be signed by the copyright owner or a representative authorized to act on their behalf. To sign, you may enter your full legal name (first and last name, not a company name) at the bottom of your claim.

We encourage you to contact us directly for any questions or requests for the removal of content in violation of your copyright.
