Green Grow the Rushes
Synopsis
In the small British village of Anderia Marsh, locals cling to an ancient charter granting them freedom from import duties. When government officials arrive to enforce modern regulations, the villagers unite in rebellion. After a smuggling vessel carrying contraband brandy runs aground during a storm, Captain Biddle and his crew must find a way to dispose of their illegal cargo before customs officers discover it, leading to a comical showdown between small-town tradition and government authority.
