Synopsis

Set in 1917 Mexico, this historical drama follows Miguel Pro, a devout Catholic priest who risks his life during a brutal government crackdown on religion. As churches are burned and priests are executed by a ruthless general determined to eradicate Catholicism, Miguel maintains his faith and continues to minister secretly to the Mexican people. Moving between disguises and outrunning the authorities, his courage and conviction inspire a growing resistance, all while the government's secret police pursue him relentlessly.
