Synopsis
A washed-up alcoholic reporter gets a second chance when he's hired to save a failing newspaper owned by a determined young woman who inherited her father's struggling business. As he uses sensationalistic journalism to boost circulation and falls in love with the owner, he must prove he can stay sober and that their unlikely partnership can survive both professional rivalry and personal demons in this classic 1932 tale of redemption and romance.
