Synopsis

In the remote Scottish Highlands, seventeen-year-old Shell tends a decaying gas station with her reclusive father Pete, their world reduced to passing trucks and fleeting customers. Abandoned by her mother as a child and now caring for her ailing father, Shell finds herself trapped between duty and desire, longing for escape from their beautiful but desolate isolation. When a traveling salesman offers her a glimpse of the outside world, Shell must confront the complex emotions binding her to this place and to the man who raised her, in a haunting coming-of-age story where the landscape itself becomes a character in their struggle for connection.
